Description: I had structured this group to meet on Thursdays at the Bountiful park at 10AM. Once a month I meet depending on my schedule for ideas of everyone to meet and do outings. At the monthly meetings it is the best time for everyone to help each other who are having issues on homeschooling. I will post letters of the activities to everyone who posts into my group. Requirements: There is no requirements in this group... the only thing I require of anyone who meets is to have fun. And most importantly enjoy homeschooling and enjoy your kids while it lasts...

A secular group offering support and activities for families homeschooling their preschool through primary-age children. We offer support for parents, group activities for our littles; fieldtrips, co-op classes, playgroups, and a database with ongoing events in the community.

Description: This is a secular group for families homeschooling young children from infancy through the primary grades in Utah. We are based in the Salt Lake valley, but all Utahns are welcome.

Requirements: You are only asked to introduce yourself to our group, and enter some very basic info into our contact list.

Benefits: We have much to offer our families! We have fieldtrips at least once a week, a database with ongoing events in the community, a calendar of special events and planned fieldtrips, a list of places of interest around our state, and starting in January of 06 we will begin co-op classes.

Description: Meetings are held at the Barnes & Noble in Murray on 5300 south and State Street. The 3rd Wednesday of the month, meeting starts at 7:00 pm. There are meetings every month EXCEPT December, June, July and August. We will sometimes have a pot luck dinner in July and August and meet at a park. SLHE is a support group created to offer support and information to all home educators regardless of race, religion, learning, and teaching styles, etc. all ages of children are welcome. We operate on a volunteer basis. If you don't find what you need, you are welcome to plan any event, field trip, park day, workshop, class, or newsletter article. We encourage and support you to find what methods and experiences work best in your homeschooling endeavors.

Description: The UHEA is a state wide homeschool resource offering legal help, newsletters, conventions, symposiums, resources and support groups in all counties of the state.
Requirements: The UHEA is a non profit organzation and ne fees are required to attend our support groups. Just come and offer help when needed. Your involvment will help your homeschool and activities greatly. Every county has their own groups as well as many of the Utah cities and each is as different of the people in them.

Benefits: The UHEA associates gain valuable discounts from our vendors and advertisers. Our newsletter is filled with informative information for the old and new homeschooler. Park days, zoo days, museum days, outings are announced on our website calendar.

Description: The Wasatch Home Educators Network is a co-operative homeschool support network in the Utah County area in Utah. Its purpose is to aid homeschooling families in their efforts by organizing newsletters, support group meetings, field trips, and activities such as science fairs, spelling bees, etc. WHEN's mission is to foster " whole family" education by supporting high standards and values, promoting awareness, and encouraging achievement. We have over 200 families involved in our group. Each member agrees to serve on one committee and then can participate in as many other activities as desired. Committees elect their own chairperson and operate as they see fit. Members have the opportunity to change committees yearly. A president and vice-president serve two-year terms and help oversee committees and admit new members.

Requirements: All of our members are required to help out on one of our many committees.

Benefits: WHEN Provides a Wasatch Web email list and a website as a resource to support and network with each other and receive announcements. Members also receive a quarterly newsletter. Activities include the following: Arts Festival, Choir, Field Trips, Geography Bee, History Fair, Hero's Day, Holiday Parties, Mom's Night out, Park Days, School Pictures, Science Fair, Service Projects, Spelling Bee, Support Group, Teen Scene, Theater, Used Curriculum Sales and more.
