A social/support group for homeschooled children (birth through high school) and their families. Kids play, moms chat, people share many school and household items. We meet at the Alpha Borough Park (southern Warren County, near Phillipsburg, NJ).
Catholic Homeschool Association with Papal Loyalty Educating Together (CHAPLET)
Based in the Burlington and Camden Counties
Description: CHAPLET is a group of 55 Roman Catholic homeeducators.There are over 200 children, of all ages, spread throughout Camden and Burlington Counties.
Requirements: All current home educators, as well as those considering home education, are welcome. You need not be Roman Catholic, but must understand that most activities will be distinctly Catholic.
Benefits: We sponsor the annual statewide Catholic homeschool conference.
Activities include Little Flowers, Knights of Our Lady, Pilgrims of the Holy Family, monthly parents' meetings, monthly Mass and picnic, and more. We communicate via a Yahoo! group and the directory of families and monthly newsletter are distributed through the Yahoo! group.

Catholic Homeschoolers of New Jersey (CHNJ)
Description: Coalition of Roman Catholic homeschool support groups in the state of New Jersey.
Requirements: Must be a local Roman Catholic support group in New Jersey in order to be part of our coalition. Since each member group is autonomous, CHNJ will not concern itself with whether an individual group has affiliations with national homeschooling groups; neither will CHNJ get involved in a group's liturgical preferences, be they Novus Ordo, Indult, or non-diocesan Traditional Chapels.
(1) Help Catholic homeschoolers find a local support group,
(2) Maintain a web site to offer information on curriculum, books, and other useful information,
(3) Provide legal and political information when needed,
(4) Be a unified voice representing all Catholics in the state in legislative matters,
(5) Provide a means of communication between all Catholic support groups in New Jersey in matters affecting them as Catholics, homeschoolers, or parents,
(6) Maintain the CHNJ Yahoo list as a means of discussion and information sharing between individual Catholic homeschoolers.

Description: Welcome to Crossway Community egroup. The purpose of this group is to provide a place to exchange homeschool information, receive reminders for local HS events, share prayer requests, and to allow off-topic (OT) posts as well. This is an inter-denominational Christian loop and any off-topic posts that are in conflict with Christian beliefs will NOT be allowed (ie, pro-abortion). This is an unmoderated list and debate will not be censored. We ask that all members be sensitive to the diversity of the group when considering whether a topic is appropriate for posting.

This group serves Essex and the surrounding counties. We are an informal group of families meeting in West Orange who homeschool their children with special needs. The group has a simple Bible study, takes nature walks in South Mountain Reservation, does art projects, has free play time, visits Turtle Back Zoo, and will hopefully be doing more as time goes on. Possibilities are GFCF/all natural cooking projects, a special needs Girl Scout troop, simple science projects, or anything else the parents can come up with.

Description: We are a diverse group of parents dedicated to "teaching our own." We agree that there is NO one-right-way to homeschool, therefore we learn and share our experiences.Our activities are based on the parent's willingness to volunteer for a position.
Requirements: Our regularly scheduled support meeting is the second Friday of each month from September through June. The time is 12 noon to 2p.m.at The Loyle Lanes Bowling Alley in Vineland, NJ. Children have supervised bowling while parents attend a meeting for encouragement and information. Children under 6 have a craft class.We are open to allhomeschoolers regardless of race, religion, or homeschooling style.
Benefits: Our members are placed on our Yahoo Email Group, where they receive daily emails about activities for their children and important information. They can borrow books from our Homeschool Library. Families can participate in all of our field trips, and clubs.
