Student Center - Current Events Summary

The students of ED Anywhere Private High School have created and are serving the organization "From Me To You with Love." The students are enrolled in a class for leadership, and will receive credit for community involvement and demonstration of leadership habits. The project for this Spring semester is to create care packages for Iraqi children residing just outside of Bahgdad. The students are accepting donations of new or gently used children’s shoes, socks, and small care-package items (toys, treats, hygiene essentials). You can make a world of difference to not only the children, but to the students who are learning how to create a community who cares. Please don’t pass this up!

The development of positive leadership is important for ED Anywhere students. At the beginning of each session a Student Leader Intern is responsible for chairing the session for the week. This involves taking the initiative for informing students of the current events that are in the news each day. At the end of each month, students will be tested on how well they have understood the current events issues and will respond to critical thinking questions.
