TEACH is a state-wide organization serving CT homeschooling parents. We are committed to help, support, inspire, and protect families in their God-given right to direct the education of their children, regardless of religious affiliation. Our annual convention is held in June.
Fairfield and New Haven Counties

We are an inclusive homeschool support group that serves Fairfield and New Haven Counties. We have members from Greenwich to Waterbury and from Ridgefield to Hamden. Our members represent many curriculums and religions. We have monthly support meetings, weekly park dates during the fall and the spring, weekly gym day year-round, and a teen group with meetings and outings. Membership is free.

The CHN website provides information about how to get started, educational approaches to consider, and the legalities of homeschooling in Connecticut. It functions as a collaborative effort between families in area towns, to do community outreach for new homeschoolers, networking, and assorted group events year round. Free monthly newsletter. Our goal is to connect and support all CT homeschoolers. The Yahoo Message Group is the hub of our activity, allowing homeschoolers across the state to connect to share ideas, methods, events and support. Our goal is to work cooperatively with all national and local homeschool groups, and we support the efforts of the Connecticut Homeschool Network (CHN) and the work of NHELD and HSLDA. While the majority of our connections will be made on-line, group members are welcome to schedule gatherings at locations around the state.

Newsletter and calendar of events and activities for homeschooling members located in the Tri-State NYC area, including Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess Counties in New York, Bergen County in New Jersey and Fairfield County in Connecticut. Activities open to families with children of all ages. We also offer a number of teen trips, classes and activities. We offer our members a monthly newsletter with activities and information as well as a online Yahoo group that is used for spontaneous get-together's, last minute changes to activities, events that didn't make the newsletter deadline and general questions and information. Members also receive a listing of the 180+ subscribers to the newsletter, which can be used to connect with other homeschoolers in your area.
